Let's Steal the Time

They say stealing is a criminal act, but does that really apply if you were trying to steal the time?

I have come across several books highlighting how to steal the time, i.e. Time Management Skills and etc.etc. I believe you do as well. However, which method do you find it really effective?

I believe the answer is different for different people. In this modern era, it's almost impossible to find a template that fits everyone. Therefore, we should instead look for a way to tailor a template that fits our own needs and requirements. This applies similarly to time management method as well.

From my humble opinion, I grasp the concept of time during my primary school life. Reason? At that time, I was an avid fan of Dragon Ball comic. If you read Dragon Ball, you will know that they have this Chamber of Time. Upon entering this chamber, the time outside of the world moves at an extreme slow pace (1 minute of the world time = 6 hours in the chamber). With this chamber, we have the luxury of time. Time will not be scarce anymore. Isn't this an ideal room for everyone?

This leads us to a question, #mindchallenge.
If time is abundant, do we really care about it so much then?

Anyway,
I would like to share my tips on how I steal the time. Believe it or not, it works effectively for me (I hope it does for you as well). What's more convincing is that this is still a work in progress. Truth be told, I am really excited about this time stealing project.

Beat the Snooze
It took me tremendous efforts to overcome this. The most important thing about this is that you shall not have the slightest thought of falling back into the bed and reassure yourself that you will wake up on the next alarm call. It will never happen!

Therefore, in order to beat the snooze, train yourself to have the purest thoughts that this is a brand new exciting day. There are so many exciting personal things to do. Now it's the perfect time to do so. Bounce out of the bed and start doing it. Make it a habit! When you beat the snooze, you have stolen time.

Rise before the Sun
This is an amazing thing that you must try. Naturally, when you are able to beat the snooze, you can rise before the sun. Suddenly, you feel that you will have ample time to do your favourite things before heading off to work.

How to rise before the sun?

I believe the most convincing method is you invest 10 days to rise at 6am or earlier. Do the things that you never really have time to do so previously. After 10 days, if you find it effective, you will realize the awesomeness for this practice. With that, you will naturally love to rise before the sun.

The most important thing to take note is tailor this according to your needs (how much time you want to steal without jeopardizing your own health). I mentioned about tailoring a template that best fits you, that applies here.

Set how much time you need to do your favourite things before work/schedule. Plan ahead. Your whole day will be surprisingly good.

Slice your Time into Many Layers
This method is a bit too technical. I will leave this for the next time. But the main idea circulates around maximising the efficiency of your time usage, instead of pretending to LLB (Look Like Busy).

A more concrete example will be blogging (exactly what I am doing right now). I spend half an hour to write this, so that equals to 30 minutes of my life. Assuming each reader spends about 1 minute to read through my blog post, my post would have stolen n minutes from n readers. Ok now, imagine this is a piece of profit making business. If you could do exactly the above, you could have stolen much more time from your customers.

The best thing is this is completely LEGAL!

In a nutshell,
You can share with me your most effective time management skill which you deem it as good as stealing the time. It could be helpful to the people.

Are you interested to steal the time now?

Just Saying.
